2D Platformer Character Controller
This is probably the dummest question I could ask, but since the youtube videos about how to make a 2d character controller don't seem to work, does somebody have the character controller script for a 2D platformer? Optional: it would be better for me if the script contained also the code for rotating the player when he goes leftest or right
You don't have to feel stupid. When it's something new, everybody needs to start from zero. And everything is new. But I see you are trying to figure it out and asking people is a good start.
I watched $$anonymous$$ Brush videos and I am also stuck. The zip file for the 2D platformer character controller is not helping me at all. And once again I am trying to find other people who is explaining on YouTube.
If I see a solution, I will notify you as well ;)
I know you said you've watched videos before and they don't seem to work but i'm really curious if you've watched Brackeys. He does a bunch of general tutorials which are very intuitive and easy to follow which have come in handy for me in previous projects. Seeing you must be a bit new to unity i'm sure his videos could help you.
I know this guy ... thank you for mentioning him. To bad he left youtube. I hope I will find some useful videos.
But you are a kind hearted person to mention him on youtube. Instead of reading what people are saying but not understanding them how to do it.
