I can't install Unity 2017.4.1f1
I just got a new computer and tried installing Unity Editor. However, it won't even let me run the assistant or editor. I dont get any error messages: i click it and nothing happens, and its not running in the task manager. I tried turning off my antivirus and vpn, tried to install older versions of unity, and reinstalled visual C++ (2005 to 2017) but nothing has worked. I have windows 10 and my drivers are all updated. I know that my hardware is sufficient to run this (i5 8400, 8 gb ram, gtx 1070) so i'm a bit lost here.,I just got a new PC, and currently trying to install Unity Editor. However, I cant even get the installer to start. I'm running on windows 10, and I tried to run the assistant as well as the editor installer (downloaded separately). i've also tried to install previous versions, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling all my visual C++ versions (2005 to 2017) and all my drivers and windows are updated. I didnt have this issue in my old computer, and I'm stuck.
