What is `assets/bin/Data/Managed/etc/mono/xxx` contain ?

I decode my il2cpp build android apk file.
In it I found there is a folder named assets/bin/Data/Managed/etc/mono/... folder.
What is it and for what is it used for ?

Does that mean even il2cpp contain some mono specific things?
