Unity 5 stops responding when i click "open other" project

Hello, today i downloaded Unity 5, i'm running OS X 10.6.3 and when i want to open the project that i am working on, unity stops working and the colored wheel comes up, for awhile until i close the app, it doesn't even open the projects i create with it.

Any help is welcomed.

I had a problem like this in Unity 4. Try saving off whatever scene and project you have running first, even if its blank.

Well meat5000 thank you for your comment but the problem is that Unity 5 doesn't go further than the "Open other" button at the start up of Unity 5, I'm running OS X 10.6.3, the app just freezes

Thanks for the suggestion, I have already sent a bug report. I hope they can fix it quick, I can only use 10.6.3 for now
