Initial loading of data with scriptable objects
My scenario is as follows: A Player MonoBehavior has a reference to a Deck Scriptable Object (SO). I'm wanting this default deck to load every time the game starts. This Deck SO has a list of Card SOs. Since the Deck is an SO, I can't drag my Card SOs on to it in the editor. How do I initialize this deck with specific cards when starting the game?
I've read up a bit on addressables which seems to be a solution, but I'm wanting to know of other (maybe more simple) ways to approach this problem.
