Fade screen to black?
So ive been working on a group project for a while now (few months) and its finally at the finishing touches. im at the last scene and the last thing i want the game to do, is fade the screen to black. yet i dont want it to go to a different scene simply fade to black. ive tried doing this, looke up tut's and help for a while and couldnt find anything. the only thing i found was to fade the game out of black to the scene. i want it to fade to black. any ideas on how to do this? what the script is or a site that may help me figure it out? Thanks so much in advance.
@Bored$$anonymous$$ormon Yea...i have no idea what tht means, im a complete newb at coding and im just starting to learn JS and C++ in my coding class. is their a site that shows me how to do what you said? or can you maybe explain a little more on how to do that? thank you in advance.
Short tutorial on youtube. It doesn't use the new Unity GUI, but it gets the job done.

Put a sprite or image or quad in front of the camera with a black texture. Use a coroutine to start its alpha at zero then bring it up to max over your fade time.
B$$anonymous$$ has answered correctly , another way you can do is use iTween ,it has Fade Out method it will do this for you

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but you can also use an Animation, the Renderer properties like Main Color are available. Then you only need to trigger the animation.
