SpriteRenderer flipX locking while in playmode!
ok so im Animating a dolphin sprite and up until now I could flip the sprite along the Xaxis and Yaxis with a script or otherwise but now for idk what reason I can still edit the Yaxis in play but the Xaxis has become only modifiable before play and then becomes locked to me and the script until play ends. I have already made sure that none of my scripts are causing the problem by unloading all of them, starting the game, and then trying to flip along the Xaxis manually but the same locking thing still happens. I have been (and still am) using SpriteRenderer to flip the sprite.
Things I think might be be the problem:
My most likely guess on whats causing the problem at the moment is that I may have somehow changed the settings relating to the player sprite causing the Xaxis to lock during play, a picture of my current settings on the player has been attached below:
I recently started using state machines (which I think could also be the cause of the problem somehow) in the animator because it was getting a bit to cluttered with all the animations that I have so a picture of that has been attached, well would be if you could upload two images here... but you cant so have a hyperlink:
Oh yeah and I also recently updated to unity version 2020.1.2f1.
