Do Unity ads only show in final released app?
I'm using Unity 2018.1 final and included Unity Ads for iOS. I've set up the ad campaign in the dashboard, am initalizing at Start() via Advertisement.Initialize(gameId) and do the usual while ( !Advertisement.IsReady() ) { yield return null; } before calling Advertisement.Show(...) using the placementId "video", and it all works with a test ad. Now I want to test the real ad on the iOS (11.4/ latest) device (and disabled Test Mode), but no ad shows there when I build and run (iPhone SE); my app otherwise runs normal as it should. (I'm in Europe, where ad serving is supposed to be no problem.)
Is showing an ad in a not-yet released iOS app supported at all? If so, what might I be doing wrong? Thanks!
