Unity Hub sign-in via Google is broken
It appears there's been a recent change in how Google handles sign-ins which has removed the ability to sign-in with a Google account through the Unity Hub.
In the "Learn more" link in the "Couldn't sign you in" prompt seen in the screenshot above it states that "Google might stop sign-ins from browsers that... are embedded in a different application."
Currently I'm unable to use my paid Unity seat attached to my google account. The only workaround that I can think of is to create an entirely new personal account with a non-google email address until this is somehow resolved.
Update: It looks like sign in with a google account is possible through the default log in fields (rather than through the "Sign in with Google" portal). I don't think I was able to use my email address's password by default, but when I first selected the forgotten password link and changed my Unity account password I was then able to use that new password with my Google email address to sign in.
Unity developers should check the bottom of the Google page at the "Learn more" link for details on how to "migrate to a more secure alternative"
