unity batches importing model,unity batches.

i model a gatling gun in maya. its vertics is just 512 and one texture. but when i import it in unity its give me 55 batches. can any one help me please. thanks,i modeled a gatling gun in MAYA but when I import it in unity it gives me 55 batches, the texture is 1. in maya its vertics is just 512. can anyone please help me. thanks
