Looking for an approach to modify 3D shapes in run time
I'm currently working on a project that requires me to import a 3D model and be able to perform some manipulations on it.
I've been experimenting with the vertex and index arrays provided by Unity for the 3D object. I'm able to extrude/inset faces and edit individual vertices of simple objects.
I would like to get some advises on how I can perform Euler operators, or just simply split a face of an object like this:

The ProBuilder plug-in for Unity Editor is pretty much what I want but just some features of them and in run-time.
I would like to build this as an extra feature for my project instead of having to use a full-blown 3D modelling software like Blender. I greatly appreciate any advises.
