why am i getting this error after importing a Tutorial asset package while using Unity 2019.2.0a 13 ?
Library\PackageCache\com.unity.package-manager-ui@2.0.7\Editor\AssemblyInfo.cs(7,12): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'UxmlNamespacePrefixAttribute' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

For whatever reason the package-manager-ui package is busted. You can get around this by uninstalling the package.
go to Window-> Package Manager
Find the Package Manager UI package, and click remove.
I did the same but UI Package is still under packages in the Assests and cannot be removed. What to do here?
If that doesn't work you should set the packages to default and reinstall packages that you need. It worked for me only like that
Ty did it that way since "remove" option not appeared for me. Only "set default" was enough for me.
import the asset first, after u import the asset it will appear in unity registry
The same problem occurs with the Karting tutorial for 2020.3... and the same solution works. I'd suggest opening the Package Manager window and updating all packages that need it.

I was able to resolve the error by going to Package Manager > Select Unity Registry > Search: "Package Manager UI" > Update to 2.2.0
This fixed it for me but for some reason, I had no update option in the UI so had to manually edit the packages manifest file in the project Packages folder. Thought it might be useful for some.
Also had these errors doing the tutorial with Unity 2020.3.3f1 and updating to 2.2.0 worked for me as well ; )

Looks like I might have the same issue. My package Manager UI level is 2.0.8, however when I select the Package Manager UI there is no option to upgrade it.
