why is the animation preview so small?
the animation preview in one of the models I imported from blender is so small that I cannot see it. How can I change this? Increasing the scale of the model did not help.

For me, the issue was that a stray vertex 100 units away from the base model in Blender. In edit mode, there was a completely disconnected vertex 100 unity to the right. An easy way to test if this is your issue: box select your entire object mesh (as you see it) within wireframe view-- so you don't miss backfacing vertices. Then invert your selection (shift+i) and see if you notice any stray selections when you zoom out. That did it for me.
It's comical how late this reply is, but for anyone who might stumble upon this post, hope it helps.
