Get the overall camera brightness

Hello, my question is how to get the overall brightness of the area that the camera is looking at? Something sorta like how the eye adaptation script gets the brightness/darkness/lighting/whatever and then adjusts to the middle grey.

Are there any variables that are responsive for holding that value in the TonemappingColorGrading.cs Image Effect script?
