Cannot install through Hub. Can't add modules to manual install.,Cannot install Unity Editor via Unity Hub
Every time I try to install any Unity version via the Hub, it starts to download and shows the little progress bar across the top of the box, but it fails silently at some point during the download process and the Installs page of Unity Hub just shows "No Unity Installs" as if I've never even tried.
What I can do is install manually by downloading from the archive - but then I can't add modules, so that's pointless since I intend to develop for Android and iOS (really? WHY can't we add modules manually? I mean we definitely could from a technical standpoint, but why don't they let us?).
So I really need Hub installs to work, but they don't. My plans are absolutely in limbo without a way of doing this. Can anyone PLEASE help? :(

I too wonder a way to add modules (like the android support with sdk/ndk) to manual installations.

I have the same problem after I upgraded to MacOS 12.
I found an almost acceptable solution, down load the desired install program from Unity download archive, install in folder named 9999.9.99X9 i.e 2020.3.23f1 (Unity version) that exits with other versions of the editors (boot disk)/Applications/Hub/Editor folder (my path - MacOS 12.x) I lost my modified main user display, but I can now launch from Unity Hub.
I just (11-23-2021) added two versions of the editor to my Unity hub by downloading to Unity Hub from the download archive.
