Mobile replay timing
I'm working on a replay system I plan on using on multiple one button mobile games and was wondering what's the best way to get the timing correct. I've tried recording the time events happened and waiting for the time in coroutines or Invoking them but the timing is still not a 100%. I've got a backup where I just save the position and state at intervals en Lerp between them but that's quickly taking a up a couple of kb while just saving the method calls can be in the bytes.
Now I'm thinking of storing the FixedUpdate that was called after the method is triggered in the Update , and on the replay trigger the method at that FixedUpdate.
Would this work? And are there any other ways to get the timing 100% right, if even possible.
