Character customization?
I have been working on a 3D PvP fighting game where the characters you control are dinosaurs. I recently wanted to add a customization system (maybe like hairstyles/different legs, etcetera). I've done a whole lot of googling around but I can't seem to find a solid explanation on how to achieve the mesh part of this system. I am fine with the code aspect of implementing this system, but what I am having trouble understanding is changing out your mesh.
Do you model every variation? Do you separate the head/legs and then model over them?
I would be super appreciative of anyone who can point me in the right direction! Thanks!
