IL2CPP Build never finishes
I keep running into issues compiling with IL2CPP. It stops at the stage "Building native binary with IL2CPP"
I cannot see anything in process explorer that points at an issue. The CPU for the build drops to near zero when it gets stuck.
Are there any logs produced that can help troubleshoot these type of issues?
Once the project gets into this state, I cannot find a way to fix it. I have had to rebuild my Unity project 3 times. After a rebuild the compiles then work for a while.
Installing assets from the asset store has been the trigger for this problem, HighlightPlus and Rewired. But I don't think it is these assets at fault. Removing these assets after the problem manifests, sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't.
Environment: Unity 2020.2.1f1, Windows, URP, Windows standalone build
