Build .exe is deleted and not generated
To build, I use [File -> Build Settings -> Build] or [Ctrl+B]. Then, Unity shows a little dialog box "Building Player" with a progress bar.
But, when it finishes building my project, the .exe that already exists in my Build folder is deleted. A new one is not generated. When I try for a second time, a .exe is created.
When I delete the Build_Data and Build.exe to build the project, it works fine. The problem is when the folder and the .exe are there.

I've just experienced this issue. If you are using Visual Studio 2017 and ticking "Create Visual Studio Project", you then need to load the newly created solution in Visual Studio and build that.
