[META] First email notification opened in browser session, does NOT open question

When I first open my chrome browser, and look at my UA email notifications: the first link I click (100% of the time) takes me to the Unity Answers website, but rather than opening the question I’ve been notified about, it opens a list of questions.

If I go back to my email, and click the link again, the question opens properly.

Clearing my browser settings fixed this, but only for a while, and was just a pain in general. After some tests, I have temporarily resolved it by going into my chrome cookie settings, and setting up an exception for " http://answers.unity3d.com/ " with the setting “clear on exit.”

While this resolves it, it does require I logon every-first-time, (and I feel like I remember email alerts doing this first-logon-of-session automatically for me in the past. Or am I mistaken about that?).

Is anyone else is having the same issue, or have a better solution?
