A few questions about this forum

Firstly, I get that new users are getting moderated. It is done to ensure the quality of this forum but I think there might be a problem with it. I recently posted a question while I was at 1 reputation and it was awaiting because I posted it in the default space.

Now, I am at 22 reputation which means that there is no need for me to be moderated so I decided to skip the queue by deleting my question which was still stuck waiting and posted a new one. The new post was not published in the default room for some reason. I thought I only needed 15?

Also when I posted, it says that 106 people are following the question. It was posted only a few seconds so how can it have so many people that fast? I doubt they've even read it yet because it wasn't published.
