Questions stuck, awaiting to be moderated.

Question

Hello!

4 hours ago i posted a question, when i checked back an hour ago it was still being moderated.

"This post is currently awaiting moderation. If you believe this to be in error, contact a system administrator"

So, i tried deleting it and reposting. Now, one hour later i still get the message above. Does anyone else have the same issue right now? I hope this one gets trough though :)

Okay, it took 20 hours for the questions to pass. I did some searching and found out that moderators are less active on the weekends which makes sense.

Moderation makes UA pretty much useless.

Ask in the Help Room which is unmoderated. Or participate in the site to build up reputation so you are no longer moderated. It only takes 16 rep or so - answer a question, comment, etc and you'll have that in no time. This is meant to be a community so participation is encouraged like that.

And 90% of the questions are repeats. $$anonymous$$oderation makes a lot of sense to help cut down on the noise and make it easier to find existing answers. Of course, nobody searches first.

We all agree, somewhat. Unfortunately the alternative is worse.
