How do you make objects stop rotating around the hand when using Magnetic Pinch?

So I'm using a combination of the Leap Motion and the Magnetic Pinch script to allow the user to pick up objects. The only problem is, when an object is picked up it starts to rotate rapidly around the hand. Is there any way to fix this?
