Resizing objects with leap motion,Resizing objects with Leap Motion

A student would like stretch a model based on particular gestures. Closing hand halfway would squish or stretch a mountain model on the Y scale. We looked at the pinch demo but it doesn't show how to actually enable changing the scale of an object. We got the pinching to work but it doesn't change the size.

Does anyone have idea how to change size of an object using leap motion control so I can help my student? :),Hi I am trying to help a student resize objects using leap motion gestures.

Specifically, closing your hand to half way would vertically squish or stretch the Y scale of a mountain,

spreading your palms out would calm wave model and bringing them closer makes the waves turbulent.

I see the leapmotion demo exhibits using pinch control to stretch a cube but even that we were not able to figure out how to actually do. We can pinch but the pinch does not change the size of the object.
