How to make a game with the ability to play your music in-game and tailor it to become the level? on an android and iphone device

Greetings men!

in other words, I wanted to know if there is anyway the unity game can Identify and allow the player to "select" a android root folder, or Iphone root folder where the MP3 lies. and allow the player to play the game through the music of their choice in their phone/tablet.

I have to create this awesome game but I'm stuck with something and the title says it all. I have took a toll in making a game that generates stuff with the beats of music and yet I have this big wall. I had a response saying I should port my unity project into eclipse and do it from there, but that would kill me in coding process. (I will do it if there is still no other solution)

But that's the big part - and don't tell me it's not possible. I have seen other game devs do it sill :p

Two points about your last sentence. Just because other people did it doesn't mean it's easy. They may have spent a long time working on it. Second, Just because it's been done before, doesn't mean it's been done before in Unity.

from this post it sounds like the prime31 $$anonymous$$ediaPlayer plugin will let you access music in the library. However, it sounds like andriod is a bit harder to work with for accessing music.

Not the only solution, but unless you are good at writing android or ios plugins, I would think it would be well worth your money to get a pre-made solution so that you can spend more time on making your gameplay great
