Levitating Emoji Animation (AR with Vuforia)?

Hello there,

I want to display predefined emojis, that are animated in the y-axis. Essentially the emojis should fly/levitate like in this video and disappear at the top of the screen or element to which it's bounded.

I would like to know how to do this. I'm very new to Unity and Vuforia. Would like to try this out though and any idea and suggestion, to documentations, additional plugins which I can use to accomplish the task.

Don't know whether it's important to know for you, that I want to display the animation on an ImageTarget in an AR-Project using Vuforia.

It's important to mention, that I would like to use the unicode emojis in order to display them with the native emojis.
