Smooth one touch slide to move an object control

Hey evreybody ! i wanted to know how can i script a verry smooth slide-drag control for 2d or 3d game which will not affect the rendement of my object whether he's fix or has a rigidbody and affected with gravity .

gameobject most follow a wanted axis maybe X Axis of the input ( mouse or multitouch ) smoothly with a custmisable result .

i have it but my result are not that good as i can see it in the most common casual mobile games check some voodoo or ketchapp games ( splashy , hop , snake vs blocks ....ect).
