The applied material is darker than the actual material,The applied material darker than the actual material,

Im new to unity and I ended up following 2 tutorials to get used to unity than opened up a new project to see what I could do. So I made a 2D project added a platform and the basics for it to float than added a capsule and all of the other components for it to stay on said platform and when I created a new material and went to apply it to the capsule it was darker than how it showed on the material sphere. The material is 255 255 255 255 but on the screen it shows a much darker variant. Sorry for bad english,I've decided to see what i learned after following the rolla boll tutorial and one of brackeys so I opened a new project set up the scene with a platform and a capsule and I went ahead to create a material to put it on the capsule and after I did that the capsule became gray but the material was white. Sry for bad english.,
