Need help with coding a script for 4 digit code lock combination for an escape room game using ray casting

I have 0 experience in coding but I want to make a simple escape room game but not a virtual reality one, just WASD key movement and a mouse click control. I want to make one using a first-person view with ray casting controls. I've been following lots of tutorials on youtube on how to open the doors with a mouse click, but now I need help with coding a script for 4 digit code lock puzzle and opening a door animation.

I am using a 4 digit padlock with 4 wheels for the puzzle.

I was wondering if anyone knows a link to a tutorial for that or guides me through it from here. sorry if it is too much to ask.
