New Script Assemblies not generating

I'm working my way through the Roll A Ball tutorial and when I create a new script there is an issue. The code opens in my VS, but there are no assemblies in the solution. This is creating/causing/whichever, an issue with the MonoBehavior not linking correctly. The code is not acknowledging my classes and is causing the demo to not run. The code is written correctly and I've added the using statement for InputSystem. I believe the problem is that the assemblies with their references are not loading. I have double-checked the Input System in the Package Manager and have rebuilt the game three times now. When I try to play the game I get an error on the bottom that says I am missing references in my script. I believe this is referring to the references that are not generating when I create the new script.
