Question by BagBak · Jan 19, 2021 at 05:00 AM · importfbxaugmented-realityconvertformat

How can a USDZ be imported?

I'm trying to import USDZs for an ARKit prototype.

I followed the steps in this post, but USDZ import is not supported with this process.

I'm aware that Pixyz can achieve this, but I'm wondering:
Is there a free method to convert a USDZ to a Unity-eligible format?

@BagBak

rename the usdz extension to zip or rar and extract the usds and images folder from the usdz then use this in unity

then select the material as preview so its not dark ,@BagBak
