No shadow at the intersection of objects

Question

Hi! I just started working in 3D and noticed that there is no shadow near the intersection of objects. Which way to look for? It's about mesh rendering or light's settings?

I'm not the most knowledgeable at lighting either but I'm thinking that if this was a baked lightmap it could have been due to UV overlap

it could maybe also be due to normal bias or depth bias in your shadow settings
