GTFO Computer terminal style interface

Hi! So this is a bit of a general question, but could anyone give me some pointers to how to make a computer terminal like the one in GTFO?

Specifically I'm interested in how to make a screen that displays permanent text, even if I'm not interacting with it.

I should be able to interact with it, write something, "exit" interaction with the screen, and have that text still present.

What tools / resources can I look into in Unity to achieve this?

Also, as a side-note, this game was apparently made in Unity, which I think is pretty awesome.
