saving scene while in playmode
Hi Guys,
I've got a script that dynamically instances a bunch of geometry on runtime. I'd like to be able to save this geometry for editing later. I was reading up on the following page of the unity docs; it seems that by using a combination of EditorApplication.OpenScene and EditorApplication.SaveScene, you can save the current state of the game, while it's playing.

However, the example script provided doesn't seem to work. It errors out with an IOexception when using FileUtil.MoveFileOrDirectory
Has anyone successfully gotten this script to work?

I second this I have created a road editor that establish's many different textures in play mode would love to be able to save the layout then go back and touch it up later...
can't you write an editor script that does it ins$$anonymous$$d?
