Unity Ads Framerate drop?? WHY
Hello everybody,
In my android game everytime you die you can choose to watch an Advertisement and afther that you will be revived. But every time you watch an Advertisement and when you finish watching it the frame rate drops from 60 fps to around 30 - 38 fps? Why is that? Is the ad still running in the background even when you are finished watching? And if so how can i destroy the ad or close it?
Please help me with this problem.

@vincekieft I have the EXACT same problem with multiple Android devices (Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Note 4).
The only 'fix' I have found is to press the 'home' key, then go back to the app. The framerate immediately goes back after that. Obviously you can't ask players to do this.
Did you ever figure out a fix/workaround?
@lezanardi Have not solved it yet. I'm trying not to release until it's fixed, but Unity $$anonymous$$m is still looking into it. One CS agent, $$anonymous$$aš, reproduced it, thought it was fixed in 5.4.1p2 but upgrading didn't solve the problem for me.
If you can, please contact Unity about this so they know it's not only my problem. $$anonymous$$aybe even send your project "Help->Report a bug".
@lezanardi Quick question, does your FPS go back up after pressing home, then pressing app icon again? Or does it stay lower FPS after that?
Yes doing this home button hack fps comes back, but for sure we cannot do it in production.
I'm glad I'm not alone. Hopefully this can be figured out so I can move on!
I'm hoping we're both just doing something incorrect so we can make a quick change and be good to go.
we had tested in more devices, including another samsung, this problem we are taking in samsung tab $$anonymous$$ IOS iphone and ipad do not have any issue, in android motorola either.
We had delivery a game name Espetito to android and ios https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opastudios.mrspike This game have no issues, but all characters use physics to move. Our current game in development have some movements with vector3 lerp, this movements are affected by the frame rate.
