Windows game development for Kinect with Unity

Hi all,

I wish to start a game development for windows PC using Kinect V2 sensor. The game concept is to record the users walking distance from a certain point. Many proposed Unity3D for this purpose.

As I am very new in gaming & Unity3D, so I need to have few details before start this development:

1- Can I use my .Net experience (C#, XAML) in this game development?

2- What else plugins, SDKs, framework required to develop game apart from Unity?

3- What will be the deployment process on client machine?

4- Person Edition will work for my purpose or should I need to purchase another edition?

Please pardon me as I am new to Game development.
