lightingshadowsglobal illumination
Is there any way to mask global illumination?
I want to use global illumination, but only for parts of objects that are:
1) hit by a spotlight (they are within the Spot Angle).
2) not obstructed by anything from the spotlight.
This means that everything which is outside of a spotlight or in shadow should not receive indirect lighting. Furthermore, this should work for dynamic lighting.
So, is it possible to use GI only for parts of objects that are in spotlights and draw shadows from depth maps after the GI has rendered, dynamically?
