Is it possible to have scalable or non-full screen video animations on mobile devices using Unity?
In the application I'm helping to make, there are going to be a few video animations playing at set positions on the screen and they are not supposed to pick up the entire screen. I know that this cannot be achieved through the use of Handheld.PlayFullScreenMovie("MovieName.format")
and that MovieTetures
are not supported on mobile. I know about sprite sheets, but for this, we need to use video files.
Is there any possible way that I can go about having scalable video animations in my game without the use of sprite sheets?
