add collision to animated object
Hello again,
I have an animated object that I imported from 3DS Max, and I cant seem to add collision to the object through a prefab. If I add a collision box, it doesn't attach itself to the mesh, and as far as I know I cant add collision physics to the prefab itself.
Anyone have any ideas? I would like to keep the prefab because I will be replicating this object several times and then replacing it with a polished mesh later on.

Add a rigidbody to the gameobject containing your animation.
hmmm lemme try that... So I would add the rigidbody to the mesh before making the prefab, right?
Nope, no luck. If I add the rigidbody it just sinks through the floor. I'm going to try messing with the gravity.
