XAMLUnityConnectionV6 no .sln or .csproj

I cant get the XAMLUnityConnectionV6 from http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/windowsstore-examples.html to work. I tried the MultiplePages and it worked fine as there was already a .sln and .csproj in the folder but how do i build without those?

Also, I only just noticed that its for windows store app and therefore might not work for me anyway as i want it for Windows 7 users. Can anyone confirm? If not, is there any alternatives?
