Which metod for creating many AI/NPCS? FSM, Behavior tree or GOAP
Which metod is best for creating a game with a lot of AI units? I have looked at FSM, Behavior tree and GOAP. But i am not sure how ether of those metods scale with increasing amount of AI units.
I want to squads of AI soldiers which you can with and against, kind of similar to ARMA. I think that game used FSM but i am not sure how efficient it is compared to other metods.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? plan to commit to one metod to learn and experiment with it.
