Standard Assets Issue
Standard Assets comes with a Character Controller named "First Person Controller" If you enable the Standard Assets. It is located in Assets > Standard Assets > Character Controllers. The default controls for this are A,W,S,D. It works great, but.
How do I change these key bindings? I want to to make it a clickable button on the interface, but I can't find the script that controls this key bending. Does anyone know where I need to edit this? Thanks!
You're right. It is in the project input. Is it possible to switch these to a GUI button? Right now I only see a way to map keyboard buttons ins$$anonymous$$d of a GUI interface option.
You'd have to manually write code for that. Where FPSInputController
checks for input, you would add your own conditions, like "is player pressing down GUI button?". Then GUI button needs its "being pressed" logic that controller can query.

From what I recall that's FPSInputController
and actual inputs are defined in project input settings.
