Physics and controls for an airplane?
Hello all,
I am attempting to create an aviation-type game, and have found myself already stuck in its development.
With any opinion or reference anyone may have, I would like to know the best way to start approaching this problem. I already have all of the colliders and a rigidbody set up appropriately. I simply need to know a general approach on how I should start writing something that would accelerate the plane, turn it, increase its throttle, etc.
Any help at all would be appreciated!

You might find this basic flight controller tutorial helpful.
The tutorial you referenced is missing pages as well as the project file.

That flight tutorial is incomplete. Pages 4 & 5 are missing and the download links don't work anymore. I'd recommend the following instead for some help.

That website is down. It's now for sale from the owner. I guess they went bankrupt or something.

if you are using unity 5 import the vehicle package and then read the aircraft guidliens unity gives all the scripts in the vehicle package.
