Texture shows up black when using anything but unlit shaders
Hey, so my texture shows up fine in the project pane when imported...
But when applied using anything but an unlit shader, I get this:
That's using the new standard shader in transparent mode (which also adds a translucent border that I can't figure out why...)
At any rate, the colour is set to white so I'm pretty confused. Non-transparent shaders just show a black square and some shaders even just show nothing, like a fully transparent image.

Transparent mode is for something like a glass. Try using it in Fade mode ins$$anonymous$$d for something like that. Can you post a screenshot of your shader setup?
Here's the shader setup from the inspector. As you can see, the corect coloration also shows up on the material preview.
