splash screen settings ignored completely

i have problmes with the splash screen settings in unity 2017.1 - it seems like unity is ignoring my settings completely after creating the windows exe file - the "made with unity" screen is beeing shown all the time.. the preview inside of the editor is correct however..

using the "plus" version of unity...
