Built game not working. Again.
So, after i thought i figured it out, suddenly it starts doing exact same thing it did last time; Simply put, not starting at all. Last time disabling the launcher fixed this. Now the same problem is back, and tweaking with the launcher does nothing anymore.
While building the game, everything goes smooth, no errors no nothing. But once i double click the games EXE, my mouse cursor just keeps spinning thus loading it. And nothing ever happens. I cannot delete the the EXE. since my PC says they are open in SYSTEM after ive launched them, so i have to restart the whole PC to delete them, obviously. No log files can be found either.
Using newest Unity Personal, and Windows 10 64bit.
If you can, try running the EXE on another machine to verify this is a problem that is not isolated to your setup.
Yeah, turns out my OS is indeed the problem. It works fine on Windows 8 and in my laptop that has Windows 10 64bit Home. What could possibly make this happen? Any smart ideas? I got too many stuff to wipe the Windows and reinstall it.
Why restart your PC? Just kill the process in thevtask manager. Do you get the $$anonymous$$ade with Unity splash screen appear? Any audio?
I cannot kill it since as i said its open in System.exe, and one cannot shut it down. No Splash screen or audio. Nothing happens.
Have you managed to find a fix to this conundrum? I'm currently dealing with the same problem, but it only seems to affect select Windows 10 machines.
