How does one serialize a Cubemap texture??
I need to take a reflection probe texture created dynamically by ARKit during an AR session, save it, and then load it into a regular (non-AR) scene's reflection probe (both are Unity cubemaps). For a normal Texture2D, I EncodeToJPG()
then System.Convert.ToBase64String()
and that's what I save/load...works like a charm. But I cannot figure out how to do this with cubemaps. Any ideas?
