Choppy Look With Sharp Reflections
Hi I need to display gold rings. There is only one object in the scene, so I can't hide the "bad" parts. If I use the standard shader metallic set to 1, it looks great, but where there is a curvature in the ring's surface the reflections need to be squished. In those areas you can clearly see a lot of choppiness. The effect is worse the more detail I have in my environment map. In general it looks very aliased, it even seems to make the outline of the object aliased from certain angles. Interestingly enough that problem does not occur in the legacy reflective specular setup. Any help is appreciated.
