Should I package and sell my game on the asset store?
I'm trying to figure out if I should refurbish and refactor a game I and some friends have made. It's released on kongregate and wasn't a super hit but I feel there's a lot of interesting techniques and solutions going on that new or intermediate developers would like to see. The only thing that's holding me back is that I don't know if people are interested in it at all. Would you be interested in buying the source code and assets for this game?
Check it out and you'll see that there's a lot of things happening in the game. If we packaged it and sold it, we would of course tidy it up a bit which would involve more work so I would really appreciate your honest opinion.
We've looked around and haven't found actual released games in the asset store. Maybe we just didn't look enough though. We're thinking of setting a price tag of between 150 and 200. What's your opinion on this price?
This shouldn't really be asked here; it's a discussion question suited for forum.unity3d.com. See the FAQ for this site, which is about specific answers to specific questions.
right, I figured this could function as a guideline for anyone else in the same situation once answered by some devs. If mods decide to close the question then so be it. There's a question in the forums as well, under the asset store part.

I played the game and think it is fairly well executed, it would make a great starter kit.
Although 150 Euros is probably way too much. I'd think around 30 - 50 EUROS would be more realistic.

I think it would only be interesting to beginning developers, who would probably not be willing to pay for it. Personally I'd be interested in how you've integrated the kongregate API and a few other things, but I'd be hesitant to pay for it, and charging 150 euros for it is ridiculous to he honest xD
And yes, this is better suited for the forums.
Edit: So I just spend some time playing this game. It's very polished and I definitely like it, ignore the low rating on kongregate - that's mainly because it's not flash. But I stand by my point that 150 is WAY to much. People would be mainly paying for the scripting, and I can't see anything truly 'special' you've done in that sense that would make it worth that much.
150 euros is way to much for such a small game(campared to other games that only cost 60 bucks).
OrangeLightning he is not selling a game for 60 bucks, he is selling the source code and techniques used oO make the game :p
