Rigging a non-humanoid 3D model from Blender
Hi, I'm trying to animate a boss for my game. The bones were created in Blender and I am able to properly pose the model in Blender. However, when I import it into unity it's like the bones and the model have no relation to each other (aside from being child/parent like a normal model). I'm really having trouble figuring out how to actually animate this, as I cannot even figure out how to begin applying the bones to the model in Unity.
~In the picture attached, the highlighted bones are not ones I intentionally created, they show up whenever I use Unity's Animation Rigging Bone Renderer Setup. Any help figuring this out would be much appreciated, and I have notifications on so if you need more clarification please ask :)
Also, for animation context, the idea is that the model will move it's wings like a bird (which I have moving and posing completely fine in Blender).
